In September 2019, Igor Matonda (UNIKIN) did BantuFirst excavations at the site of Bieme (4,46°S 15,33°E) in the neighborhood of Kimwenza near Kinshasa in close collaboration with Isidore Nkanu, our fieldwork assistant, and Suzanne Bigohe, a student in archaeology from the University of Kinshasa.
